The world is changing. Men are becoming fathers for the first time in their 40's and 50's and there is much more importance on being fit. Our oldest Bootcamp member is in his 70's and competes in race walking world-wide. He is still a British Champion. There is evidence that keeping fit and eating healthily helps prevent many diseases and illnesses associated with old age. 50 is the new 40 and as I am fast approaching it, realise the importance of being fit. Our youth is taken for granted. It is never too late to become active and fit. Sheila joined us for a weeks intense Bootcamp aged 74 having never run in her life. She excelled all week, achieved fantastic results and even ran! And all with a smile. She wanted to enjoy life with her grandchildren and join her husband on his epic walks. On our last Bootcamp husband and wife team, Douglas and Christine, both in their 60's wanted to use a week at bootcamp as their pre London Marathon training. They were incredibly focused and worked incredibly hard and achieved the results they wanted. They left as fit as a fit 40 year old! Maybe 50 is the new 30!
